The Encinitas Junior Lifeguard Program is an ocean safety and educational youth program for boys and girls ages nine through seventeen. By combining education with recreation, participants learn about the ocean environment, gain professional lifesaving skills, and enjoy swimming, surfing, body boarding, bodysurfing, snorkeling, and competitions. Our goal is to educate young people in ocean and beach safety while building self-confidence and appreciation for the environment.
