Rincon Plaza Businesses Host Open House

Experience an afternoon of health and wellness demonstrations, education, free classes, entertainment and refreshments from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, during the Fall Open House hosted by business owners in Rincon Plaza, located at 2210 Encinitas Blvd., a block west on Encinitas Boulevard from the intersection of Manchester/Rancho Santa Fe Road in Encinitas. 

Yoga, martial arts, acupuncture, massage, skin care, cognitive therapists and other health/wellness business professionals will showcase their specialties during the afternoon. Free prizes for services and classes will be awarded in a raffle. 

Carolyn Belko, director of the Iyengar Yoga Center of North County (IYNC), said the event is a perfect opportunity for the community to learn about and personally experience different approaches to wellbeing. 

Free 20-minute-long yoga classes will be offered at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. in the Iyengar Yoga Center of North County, located in Suite U in Rincon Plaza, and Belko will give an educational demonstration at 2:30 p.m. Music, entertainment and refreshments featuring locally grown and sustainable foods will be available throughout the afternoon on the lush garden patio behind IYNC.    

Videos of Mr. Iyengar will be playing and IYNC’s yoga teachers also will be on hand to answer questions and guide guests through the Center.
