Yoga Kids Camp

Iyengar Yoga Center of North County announces the return of Kids Camp.  In a fast-paced, competitive, technology-driven society, the ancient art of yoga teaches children to slow down, listen well and connect with their bodies.  Studies show that yoga improves motor skills and concentration in children, as well as posture and breathing.  An early introduction to yoga starts children on a healthy path for life by providing a non-competitive physical activity and building a positive self-image.

This special summer program was introduced last year by instructor Deanna Cramer.  Aspiring youngsters meet twice a week to participate in a 45 minute to one hour long class, depending on age.  The four week camp costs $85 and begins Tuesday, July 5th.
