Surf Report & Forecast for August 29-30

No fun sets like yesterday; 1-3 feet with short lines.

This morning we have overcast skies and virtually no wind, but the fun and full-faced 3-4 foot sets of the last couple days seems to have died down.

We're looking at waves mostly in the knee to waist high range.

Water temp has warmed back up to 67-68.

Late morning sessions will most likely be shut down with a high tide of 5.4 feet at 10:00 a.m. Early afternoon sessions might be punchier when the tide drains, which it does fully by 4:00 p.m. at 0.6 feet.

Winds should remain light for most of the day, remaining under 10 knots.

Be patient, there may be some remnant chest-high sets popping up on occassion, especially when the tide drains.

Sunset tonight is at 7:19 p.m.

For tomorrow, Tuesday the 30th, expect 1-3 foot surf once again. But as everybody surely knows by now, a huge SW swell is due to arrive Wednesday evening. Stay tuned...
