Surf Report & Forecast for July 13-14

Long lulls as new SW swell builds.

It probably won't be too long into the future until mini waterproof IPADS are a reality and surfers will check Facebook updates in the water. Today would be a good day for that. Very long lulls are the norm, sandwiched between crumbly 3-4 foot swell with some lingering NW windswell.

Texture is weak and mushy with 9-knot wind out of the NW.

Water temp is 65.

Very early morning sessions showed poor form but now as of late morning, with more tide filling in, sets have a little more push.

Tide drains until 2:10 p.m. at 2.1 feet. High tide is at 8:30 p.m. at 6.5 feet.

Sunset is at 7:59 p.m.

For tomorrow, Thursday the 14th, expect identical conditions to today with long-period SW 3-4 foot swell with a lingering NW windswell.
