Lots to Do in Encinitas

With all the local activities for children and adults, there's never a dull moment in Encinitas.

One of the great things about living in Encinitas is all the fun things to do...many of them free.

This Saturday, May 7, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., you can bring the kids to the Ice Cream Social at Cardiff Elementary School to enjoy ice cream sundaes, games, music or a ride on a vintage fire truck. I will be the guest DJ at the Cake Walk from 10:45 - 11:30 a.m. Stop by and say hello!

For a change of pace, stop by the Encinitas Library at 2 p.m. to hear brother and sister musical duo Jasmine and Matt Commerce perform songs of the 1920s, 30s and 40s, featuring guitar, violin, and smooth vocal harmonies.

For more activities this month, check out the  Arts & Events Calendar online at the city's webpage, under City News and Events.

Summer is almost here! Registration for all summer session Parks & Recreation programs, including Seaside Day Camp, Junior Lifeguards, Beach Kids, Basketball camps, and more is now open.
