She's no 'Beverly Hillbilly' but she will make you rich in love.

This week, meet Ellie Mae, who after being rescued from the streets is ready for a loving home.

She's not a ‘Beverly Hillbilly’ and her last name isn't Clampett, but the adoptable pet of the week at Rancho Coastal Humane Society is a sweet pup named Ellie Mae. Like her TV show counterpart, she loves to be outdoors exploring, taking long walks and meeting other critters.

This little lady was discovered roaming the streets of San Diego, and though volunteers can’t know her past life, one thing is clear: Ellie Mae is a social butterfly brimming with love and affection.

Ellie Mae is available for adoption at Rancho Coastal Humane Society. Her adoption fee of $125 includes medical exam, spay, up to date vaccinations, and microchip identification.

 is located at 389 Requeza St. in Encinitas. The hours of operation are from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., except on Tuesday, when the shelter opens at 11:30 a.m.
