1. Skies will be partly cloudy this week with a high of 76 Thursday, weather.com reports. Friday is expected to be sunny. 
2. Camp Pendleton will train with explosives 6 a.m. to midnight Monday through Friday. Booms may be heard up to 50 miles away. 
3. The North County-based Tsunami Skydivers of Oceanside will have $250 tandem jumps Aug. 29 to Sept. 2, it announced on Facebook.
