Wednesday
5 Things Parents of Teens Need To Know - Family Forum - A panel presentation of high school students, parenting specialist and a school psychologist offer insights about "5 Things Parents of Teens Need To Know," on Wednesday, October 30 from 6:30 - 8:00 pm in the Media Center at San Dieguito Academy.

Thursday
Halloween Party with the Big Pumpkin- Activities for kids ages 2-6 at 10:30 a.m. at San Diego Botanic Garden, 230 Quail Garden Drive, Encinitas, CA 92024

Tower 13 Nights of Terror - Drinks specials and for anyone in costume, the chance to win Chargers tickets. 8 p.m.

Halloween Live Prize Trivia at Union Kitchen & Tap - bring your crew for a Halloween edition of this weekly trivia show-down. Costumes encouraged. 9 p.m.

12th Annual Safe Trick or Treat - Encinitas 101 MainStreet will be 
continuing its night of Safe Trick or Treats in which South Coast Hwy 101 from Encinitas Blvd to K Street will be transformed into Pumpkin Lane. Local merchants will be handing out candy to kids. 5:30 p.m.

Saturday 
The Grauer School Open House - a college preparatory school located in Encinitas, California, is accepting applications for grades 7-12 for the 2014-2015 academic year. The open house is at 11 a.m.

FrogQuest | Photo Scavenger Hunt - costumed teams hit the streets in a photo scavenger hunt. Starts at 1 p.m. at the Lumberyard Tavern. You must pre-register to participate.

Mother-Daughter Yoga This four-week Building Self-Esteem series kicks off Saturday, November 2nd.  In each 90-minute class, you and your daughter will enjoy creative yoga, guided conversations, journaling, and crafts. Vulcan Ave. 3p.m.
