Week Ahead: It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas in Encinitas

A round up of some fun local events in town.

Start the week with holiday shopping. It's Cyber Monday and nearly every online retailer tries to give customers some sort of discount. For further discounts try using the website www.retailmenot.com

On Wed. Dec. 4, kick off the Holiday Season at Saint John School's Annual Christmas Boutique and Lunch with Santa at 1001 Encinitas Blvd. Enjoy a day of shopping, pictures with Santa, music, food and fun.

On Friday Dec. 6 it's the 19th Annual Heritage Community Christmas Tree Lighting
Come to the free event Friday at 5:30pm at the corner of 4th and C Streets.
 
On Sat. Dec 7 it's the annual Encinitas Holiday Parade. The parade coasts down Highway 101 from D Street to J Street beginning at 5:30 pm. It is preceded by a 5:00 pm tree-lighting ceremony at the Lumberyard.
