How much do you love lima beans? If you're not sure, now's the time to taste test them at the 5th Annual Lima Bean Faire and Cook-off, this Year With a Petting Zoo! The event is Saturday, September 28 from noon to 4:00 p.m., and tastings are available from 12:30pm to 2:30pm at the San Dieguito Heritage Museum.

BMW recalls more than 134,000 5-Series cars in the U.S. because the rear lights can fail. The recall affects 528i, 535i, 550i and M5 cars from the 2008 through 2010 model years. Owners in the latest recall will be notified starting next month. Dealers will replace part of the rear lamp connections at no cost to customers. You can also check with BMW in Encinitas for more information.
