Anderson's La Costa Nursery

<p>Opened in 1954, Anderson's La Costa Nursery is one of the last local nurseries not bought out by corporations. A visit to Anderson's is a unique shopping experience in a beautiful atmosphere; the nursery has more than 3,000 types of plants including drought-tolerants, succulents, fruits and houseplants, and more than 100 fountains run at all times.  </p> <p>Specialty plants include perennials, ferns, orchids and rare flowers. The store also carries gardening supplies including mulch, fertilizers, pest control products, ponds, fountains and other garden tools. The expertise of the friendly staff is well-documented: they offer garden design services and advice for novice and experienced gardeners. </p>
