Encinitas Coaster Station
The Coaster commuter rail allows residents of Encinitas to travel to locations up or down the coast via 20 trains that link North County and San Diego. Each train is at least five cars in length and holds more than 1,000 passengers. Peak trains, which run at the busiest times of day, are at least six cars in length to accommodate a larger number of passengers. The Coaster does not operate on major holidays.
