Encinitas Fire Dept Station Two

The Encinitas Fire Protection District was established in 1945 and became a full-city service department in 1955. This branch of the department opened on Mackinnon Avenue in 1960. Encinitas Fire and Marine Safety Department provides emergency and public safety services such as fire protection, emergency response, medical aid, search and rescue, lifeguard and ambulance services, and education programs to the communities of Encinitas, Leucadia and Cardiff by the Sea.
