Encinitas Learning Center
The Encinitas Learning Center is a certified non-public private school that caters to second- through eighth-graders with learning difficulties. Technologies aimed to increase students' learning capacities -- Fast ForWord, PACE, BEST and Interactive Metronome -- help the children excel in an educational environment. Founder and codirector Lynda Newcomb has more than 35 years of special-education experience and holds numerous academic and technological certifications.
