The Encinitas Sheriff’s Station serves the cities of Del Mar, Encinitas and Solana Beach as well as the unincorporated communities of Rancho Santa Fe, Del Dios, Camp Pendleton and San Onofre. The station is made up of a patrol division, traffic division and crime prevention unit, as well as an investigative unit for crimes of child abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault and homicide. This station also houses several other task forces and a special unit for sex offender management.
