<p>Catherine "Ki" Holcomb started Ki's Restaurant with her son, Barry, in 1980, providing fresh juice and vitamins to the local community out of a converted beauty shop. Ki started adding healthy, home-cooked foods to the menu and, in 1994, the business moved to its current location on South Coast Highway to keep up with demand. The restaurant opens daily for breakfast, lunch, dinner and smoothies. The business also does catering, wholesale and kids' school lunches. All soups are made in-house, and many dishes are made using organic ingredients.</p> <p>Reservations are requested for parties of eight or more. Dinner reservations for parties of ten or more need manager approval. Please call and ask for Rebecca Hilton or Nikki Holcomb.</p>
