The San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to preserving the San Elijo Lagoon…More Ecological Reserve and its watershed. Funds raised through membership dues, donations and grants are used to support projects -- like inlet maintenance, habitat restoration, plant control and land planning, among others -- that benefit the lagoon. The SELC also works to increase public awareness and appreciation for the lagoon through its nature center.
