Daisy Larchmont, Neighbor

Daisy is a married mother of two, a former university administrator, and an alumna of UC Santa Barbara and the University of Michigan, where she studied public policy and natural resources management. She currently works at home in the family business, but most of her time is devoted to cleaning up dog hair.

Daisy moved to Encinitas eight years ago with her family and feels extremely fortunate to call this city home. 

Her passions include organic gardening, healthy food, local eats, slow travel and home exchange, natural sciences, languages, the local art scene and the oceans. Her pet peeves include the word "sustainable" and daylight savings time.  

Daisy will be contributing stories on occasion, whenever something interesting comes up.  She looks forward to hearing from you!
