Farmers Market Celebrates First Year in Downtown Encinitas

More than 250 people attended the Encinitas Station Certified Farmers Market Wednesday.

The Encinitas Station Certified Farmers Market celebrated its first anniversary Wednesday. More than 250 people attended the night of music and grilling, market director Carris Rhodes said.  The market has between 30 and 40 vendors every week, she added.  The blood orange kombucha from the video is available at the Edible Alchemy stand.  Upcoming time change: Encinitas Station Certified Farmers' Market is held 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesdays at parking lot B of 600 S. Vulcan Ave. Market hours will change to summer hours 5p.m. to 8 p.m. on May 29 and will run those hours until September 4, Downtown Encinitas Mainstreet Association announced.
