Do your kids love bugs? San Diego Botanic Garden will host the Insect Festival.
The two-day event will feature thousands of creepy-crawlies including live insects, lizards, snakes and Madagascar hissing cockroaches.
Activities include bug collecting, hands-on insect arts and crafts, cooked mealworm larva tasting, vendors and more.
Insect Festival will start at 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 13 and Sunday, July 14.
The event is free with admission.
